Finishing First with Wet Tech Blasting

Wet Tech blasting with ceramic media deep cleans and finishes in a single step.

Not only that, it closes the pores on the metal to make it resistant to fingerprinting and future buildup of contamination.

Check out the results on the 1961 Corvette valve covers.

Slurry blasting is not just for refurbishing. Most any process that now employs dry blasting can be upgraded to Wet Tech blast technology. And the widest variety of media can be used to achieve anything from deburring to bond prep and shot peening. Surfaces can be etched and lapped in the same machine with the same media!

Aerospace, medical, and military applications often hit the sweet spot – especially where a clean, compact, productive and dust-free blast machine is called for.

Wet Blasting is more than clean – it’s a "green" closed-loop process.

Shown is the WT36 manual blast cabinet. Wet Tech systems also come in automated and robotic models.

Dawson-Macdonald has just upgraded to an all stainless steel demo machine at our extensive lab in Wilmington, MA. So if you have an application where you need dust-free blasting that really enhances the surface, give Dawson-Macdonald a try!
