Customer Profile: Blast-Off Restoration

It’s not easy starting a sandblasting business from scratch. Especially when you’re

Blast-Off Restoration

working from a wheelchair.

But Chris Luciano, a young, wheelchair-bound entrepreneur, has that kind of moxie.

Luciano, along with Doug Everard, recently launched Blast-Off Restoration in Troy NY.

Business has been strong right from the start. The two partners are finding a wide variety of customers, and items to blast. Projects include typical small restoration items like steam radiators and car rims – and big renewal projects like flatbed and dump trucks.

Blast-Off Restoration’s capabilities include plastic media stripping of automobiles, glass beading of engine parts, and bicarb blasting of delicate substrates and for graffiti removal. As for blasting away rust, paint stripping, and surface prep of furniture, trailers and machinery? – Got it / doing it!

The partners invested in modern blasting equipment, including the latest from Schmidt blasters, Bullard respirators, and Kennametal blast nozzles. And as their business grows, Doug and Chris plan to expand their capabilities wisely. Here comes Blast-Off!

I am thrilled that the Luciano family selected me and Dawson-Macdonald for technical guidance and blasting supplies – and we look forward to continuing a great relationship.

If you’re in the area, stop in and find out about their growing capabilities. Or, do so virtually at www.blastoffrestoration.com.

Congratulations!
